Advice and support is available in relation to any student with a medical need. We have a number of staff experienced in supporting young people with complex physical and mental health needs.
We work closely with colleagues to support reintegration back into mainstream schools and we are experienced in supporting and signposting schools where medical needs and mental health needs are a barrier to accessing education.
We can provide either a pre-arranged telephone call, or a TEAMS / Online meeting to discuss individual cases, and when a referral is received, a member of the team will decide who is best placed to carry out the call or meeting. Following contact, a written reflection will be provided.
In addition we have a comprehensive training and CPD offer, including Mental Health First Aid and bespoke workshops available, either available in schools or online.
