The Children's Hospital School is part of a multi-disciplinary team based
at the Leicester Royal Infirmary Children's Hospital.

We serve the needs of Sick Children within Leicester City and Leicestershire.

While in hospital or at home your child will:

• Continue with his/her education
• Have an Personal Education Programme (PEP) designed by qualified staff
• Have a report on their educational progress sent to parents and to their own school on discharge
• Have effective liaison with their own school to ensure continuity and progression
• Have automatic feedback on daily progress through their home, homework diary and Individual Education Programme
• We set high standards through homework, extra curricular activities and school assemblies
• Have an internal review to set targets and review progress within the first term of admission
